Detailed Description

High quality magnesia carbon bricks for steel ladle lining and electric arc furnace in iron&steel industry

Magnesia carbon brick is a refractory product made of magnesia and graphite as main raw materials. Its main components, magnesium oxide and carbon, have high fire resistance, and MgO and C have no eutectic relationship and do not form low melting point substances. The thermal conductivity of graphite makes the magnesia carbon brick have good thermal shock resistance. The non-wetting effect of graphite on molten steel and slag can prevent the slag from penetrating, and the anti-flaking and slag resistance are better.
Magnesia carbon bricks are generally non-fired products, and the production process is the same as other non-fired refractory products.

Magnesia carbon brick is mainly used in converter lining and bottom, hot spot and furnace wall of electric furnace, steel ladle, refining furnace and so on.  And magnesia-carbon brick has gradually developed to a variety of products, in order to achieve balanced lining performance, reflect the goal of high quality and excellent use.  

Magnesia-carbon brick has the characteristics of high refractoriness, strong slag resistance, good thermal shock resistance and high temperature strength.
