Specification:
The Hyrdraulic Edger is a great piece of equipment to help any sawmill owner be more profitable, while saving valuable time. Anyone that has added an edger to their sawmill operation has reported an increase of production from 30 to 50%. The Hyrdaulic edger, features a 14 hp engine. Plenty enough power for the two thin kerf carbide tipped split saw blades. One of these blades is stationary and the other movable. A two speed machine feed roller system is accompanied by a spring tension system that prevents your boards from slipping during operation. Precision board widths can be set easily using the Control wheel. This control wheel is securely locked in place with a spring loaded pin. Your safety is top priority with the under saw safety guard. The edger is also equipped with anti kick back fingers, and a flip down fence for boards that only need edging on one side. A few convenience features of the Hud-son Edger include a reinforced top guard, allowing for over the top return for quick re-edging. This guard can also flip up out of the way for fast and easy blade change. Other guards can also be quickly removed for lubrication and speed set changes. The standard package comes stationary but a trailer package is available for easy portability.
