General Introduction
There are two types of Chloroisocyanuric Acid products generally, Trichloroisocyanuric Acid (hereinafter is abbreviated to TCCA) and Sodium dichloroisocyanurate (hereinafter is abbreviated to SDIC).
Continuous Chloroisocyanuric Acids Production Plant is able to obtain both TCCA and SDIC products, takig cyanuric acid, caustic soda and chlorine as raw material, and adopting continuous chlorination and crystallization process.

Process Description
Process decription of TCCA Production
Cyanouric acid (solid) reacted with 32% caustic soda solution and clean water and cyanuric acid trisodium salt solution is produced. Cyanuric acid trisodium salt solution was refined to remove impurities, and then reacted with chlorine gas, trichloroisocyanuric acid (slurry) was produced. After solid-liquid separation, trichloroisocyanuric acid (wet material, moisture content ≤ 5%) was obtained .
The chlorination reaction of cyanuric acid trisodium salt solution was carried out in a multistage countercurrent continuous reactor, which is composed of a pre-chlorination reactor, a chlorination reactor, matching heat exchangers and circulating pumps. According to the characteristics of formation reaction of trichloroisocyanuric acid, the main chlorination reactor is equipped with a chlorine absorption section and the trichloroisocyanuric acid crystallization section internally, which could realize higher chlorine utilization rate and higher conversion rate of cyanuric acid trisodium salt, and meanwhile, could obtain larger crystal size of trichloroisocyanuric acid (the moisture content of wet material of trichloroisocyanuric acid after filtration was less than 5%.)
Process Decription of SDIC production
Cyanouric acid (solid) reacted with 48% caustic soda solution and clear water, cyanuric acid trisodium salt solution was produced, which then reacted with trichloroisocyanuric acid wet material continuously. After cooling crystallization, solid-liquid separation, mixing granulation and drying, product of sodium dichloroisocyanurate dihydrate (dry and granular material) was obtained.
