Orifice Flowmeter 4~20mA Signal RS485, HART

The KOF200 series orifice flowmeter is a scale-free flow measuring device that is used with a pneumatic, electric differential pressure transmitter or double bellows differential pressure transmitter. The pressure difference generated by liquid, gas and steam flow of metallurgy, chemical, petroleum and power industry ℃ through the orifice plate transforms the pressure signal into a proportional output signal, with a secondary instrument or regulator, recording the measured flow rate, indicating or adjusting.

throttles such as orifice plate or nozzle are installed inside the pipe, and when the fluid flow through the pipe, the orifice diameter of the pipe is smaller and the flow speed accelerates. The static pressure of the fluid at the back end of the throttle decreases, causing a static pressure difference before and after the choke (see Figure 1), as a function of the fluid flow, consistent with the Q=K √ ΔP.ρ. Measure the differential pressure before and after the throttles with a differential pressure transmitter (or differential pressure gauge) to measure the flow rate.
