The UP-X898MD black and white video graphic printer is designed specifically for use with medicaldiagnostic equipment , such as ultrasound systems . The UP-X898MD printer includes a USB interface that allowsthe user to capture images that are printed and store them on a small , portable USB storage device . Highquality , photo-like prints are output in just approximately 1 . 9 seconds . The UP-X898MD is extremely small andlight weight . For additional convenience , the UP-X898MD adds a jog dial to the front panel for easy operation
The UP-X898MD and UP-D898MD are compact medical grade black and white digital printers designed to beintegrated into both analog and digital medical imaging environments such as mobile C-arm , cardiaccatheterization laboratory and digital ultrasound systems .
The high quality thermal print engine can produce hard copy prints of still images captured by these systemsfor use in patient records and referrals . For even greater convenience , printed still images can also be storedto a connected USB flash drive .
These printers are successors to the popular UP-897MD and UP-D897 of medical printers . Redesigned andupgraded , it offers several operational and ergonomic enhancements while retaining the same space-savingfootprint and easy integration into medical carts.Usability is further enhanced by an enlarged LCD displaypanel and joystick for intuitive menu navigation.
