Introduction:

Potassium nitrate mainly provides potassium in the production of ceramic frit. Its main function is to reduce the melting temperature, increase the expansion coefficient of the frit, and also help increase the transparency of the frit. The high-temperature viscosity of potassium is relatively large. It has the effect of expanding the scope of glaze sintering. At the same time, due to the effect of its nitrate, it will decompose to produce oxygen at high temperature, so it also has an oxidizing effect, which is beneficial to improve the whiteness of the frit.
