In order to avoid being deceived, some consumers will have a little understanding of the main raw materials and characteristics of the door when purchasing the door. What material is the plywood door made of?
1、 What material is the plywood door made of?
1. Plywood door is the most widely used wooden door in modern decoration. It has the advantages of low cost, simple manufacture and good decorative effect. Plywood door is also known as double box door and box door, that is, the door core material is in the middle of the door panel, both sides of the door are covered with plywood or medium density fiberboard, particleboard and other man-made panels, and the periphery of the door is sealed with natural solid wood or veneer (veneer). The door core material can be made of solid wood, solid wood square into keel, or Blockboard. Ordinary plywood doors use wood, perforated board and high-density board as the door core.
2. When the door needs to be painted with colored paint (commonly known as oil mixing), 3mm or 5mm thick medium density fiberboard can be used as surface material, or five ply board and seven ply board can be used for coating; If the door needs to be painted with varnish, a layer of decorative plywood with natural wood grain or other decorative veneer veneer shall be coated on the outside of the plywood or plywood.
3. It should be noted that when using solid wood as keel, due to the large gap of door core material, it is only covered with plywood or 3mm medium density fiberboard, the impact resistance of the door is poor, and the door panel is also prone to uneven.
4. Solid wood battens with the same grain as the panel of the door shall be used for edge sealing around the door. It is best not to use the method of sticking wooden skin around the door, otherwise it will affect the service life of the door. The color of the solid wood battens for edge sealing shall be close to the color of the panel as far as possible, so as to achieve good decorative effect.
2、 What is the installation process of plywood door?
1. The finished plywood door can be installed only after the internal decoration is basically completed. After entering the site, the finished door shall be carefully inspected and a special stacking place shall be set to prevent damage or rain. The installed door frame shall be protected by adhesive multilayer board to prevent collision.
2. The hardware of the plywood door shall be in correct position and fixed with wood screws instead of iron nails. It shall be driven into 1 / 3 depth first, and then tightened and leveled. It is strictly prohibited to drive into the full depth. Before the installation of plywood door frame, anti-corrosion treatment shall be carried out on the outside of the frame. After the door leaf is installed, flatness and diagonal acceptance must be carried out, and it can be delivered only after it is qualified.
3. The plywood door leaf must be firmly installed, flexibly opened and closed, and there is no inverted wing. The surface of the plywood door shall be clean without planing marks and hammer marks. Cut corners and butt joints of wooden doors shall be tight and flat; The cutting openings of door and window frames and fans shall be straight and the planed surface shall be flat; The edges of grooves and holes on the plywood door shall be neat without burrs.
