The Solid Float Oil Containment Boom is perfect for cleaning up oil on waterway spills. This spill containment boom is lightweight and economical for cleanup and response to oil spills in lakes, harbors and other waterways. This containment boom is one of our most economical and lightweight containment boom products.
Standard design of the containment boom includes a top flotation device, bottom ballast chain, and a short bottom skirt. Depending on the conditions of the water in your location, booms may then additionally need a top tension cable to help keep them in place during use. Tension cables are commonly used in locations where there is a current, waves or tides.
