What is switchable security glass?
Switchable Security Glass is a smart film glass , which made of the between two layers of glass with PVB film and a layer of Liquid Crystal Membrane (commonly known as SMART FLIM,PDLC Film,light adjusting film), liquid crystal film by PVB film covered in the central, and then placed in the autoclave, after through the high temperature and high pressure gluing process to made. Smart glass in addition to have privacy protection function, meanwhile has all safety glass application features .
Smart Glass/ switchable glass is commonly used in large offices, big businesses, and high class homes. With that being said, smart glass is becoming less expensive and the market surrounding it is continuously growing. Smart glass is no longer limited to specific uses and it’s not extremely expensive anymore.

1. How does switchable privacy glass work?
Through the application of an electrical current the properties of the glass change turning it from opaque to clear in seconds. This transformation to opaque and back again can be triggered from a range of wall switches, remote controls, movement sensors, light sensors or timers, depending on each customer’s individual needs. Numerous variations of privacy switchable glass can be supplied including colour tinted, fire rated, double glazed, curved and shaped privacy glass.
2. Could I have a sample to vierfy the quality?
Sure, if you would like to undertaken the sample cost and freight cost.
3. How long you are make the sample and how long for the bulk order?
Sample order takes about 7-10 days to make, Bulk order takes about 15-20 days.
