Tempered glass
Tempered glass is obtained by heating anneal glass and then suddenly cooling down. On the surface of the glass, the pressure stress is stronger. Tempered (toughened) glass is two or more times stronger than annealed glass. When broken, the injury to the human body has been reduced greatly.
Features:
1. No tong marks on the glassas
2. 5 times stronger than ordinary float glass.
3. Once breakage occurs, the glass disintegrates into small cubical fragments which are relatively harmless to human body.
