Pigment Yellow 12 is a light yellow powder, melting point 317℃. Insoluble in water, slightly soluble in ethanol. It is reddish orange in concentrated sulfuric acid, brown light yellow after dilution, brown light yellow after precipitation, brown light yellow in concentrated nitric acid. Light fastness and transparency are very good. Mainly used for coloring of ink, paint, coating, printing, rubber and plastic products.
