CBR Test mould and accessories
The CBR - California Bearing Ratio
- method is used for the laboratory evaluation of subgrade and subbase coarse materials in road construction.
The apparatus comprises moulds with accessories,
compaction rammers (the automatic models are the same used for the compaction of Proctor moulds).
Different models are available conforming to the various specifications in use.
Detail information:
CBR mould complete with collar and perforated base plate.
Plated steel, 6 in. (152.4 mm) dia. x 7 in. (177.8 mm) body height .
Including:
a) CBR perforated base Plate: to fit mould body
b) CBR cutting collar: to fit BS Standard mould body, 51mm height, fit both c) ends of mould
Mould: 152×127mm (inside diameter×height)
CBR mould body with base plate, made from plated steel threaded on both ends,
152mm ID × 127mm high, 51mm high collar
“C” spanner, to fit BS/EN standard CBR mould and collars, two required;
Base Plate tool: to fit into base plate to assist removal from mould body;
BS/EN standard CBR Perforated Base Plate: to fit mould body
BS/EN Annular surcharge weight, 2.27 kg
