Alginate Adhesive Bandage

Alginate is a non-toxic natural macromolecular materials, it can absorb up to 11 times its own weight in liquid. When alginate contacts with wound exudate, the calcium ion inside the absorbent pad will exchange with the sodium ion in the exudate, then forms hydrosoluble sodium alginate. It forces the exudate to enter the absorbent pad and then forms a layer of hydrogel membrane on the surface of wound. With its oxygen permeability the hydrogel membrane can prevent bacteria from entering wound, meanwhile it can promote creation of fresh skin tissue and accelerate wound healing through its moist substrate.HYNAUT alginate adhesive bandage can be used for superficial trauma or bruise in/above the shallow-layer skin, it provides an ideal healing condition for wound surface and skin injury.
