Safety chuck is a kind of holding shaft roller device, manual safety chuck can be divided into flange type safety chuck and pillow type safety chuck. These safety chuck can be mounted in horizontal and vertical. One set of this safety chuck with two pieces, one is without end shaft, another is with end shaft to connect with driving motor.
Standard safety chuck is simple, practical and easy mounting, convenient, fast and safe for reel shaft loading and unloading frequenctly. Driving kit insert reel mouth dimension can be customized as different matched machines and equipment. Reel shaft will not loose and slippage during work, sliding safety chuck's sliding stroke can be adjusted in axial movement by hand wheel. Axial suppoty bracket makes sure reel shaft safe and transmit high torque precisely.

For this FLO/FLW28 small size of safety chuck, its max loading weight is 800kgs, torque can be reached to 180N.m. Standard holding mouth is square, its size can be made 22-30mm.
FLO/FLW Flange type safety chuck is widely applied in steel machinery, packaging machinery, printing machinery, textile machinery, wire machinery, winding machinery, machine tool equipment, plastic machinery, chemical machinery, paper making machinery, automatic equipment and other machinery. This safety chuck is usually matched with pneumatic shaft, pneumatic brake, combiflex brake, air caliper disc brake, hand brake or others device for winding and unwinding.
In this case, flange mounted safety chuck is worked with HMC manual caliper disc brake for textile machine. There is an extend steel plate from safety chuck, then HMC hand operation caliper disc brake clamp this steel plate for stopping. This safety chuck is hold square steel bar for loading and unloading.
