GENEW's GPON platform is designed to deliver high-speed voice, data and video services to residential, business and home subscribers. The complete solution ,consist of the Optical Line Terminal (OLT), Optical Network Unit (ONU), Optical Network Terminal, and Optical Division Network (ODN), represents a high-speed, fibre to the home or building or Curb (FTTH, FTTB, FTTC and etc.) alternative to Copper. The GPON platform can be extremely cost-effective alternative to conventional access equipment, reducing points of failure and simplifying network architecture.
GENEW's GPON platform can leverage operational cost savings of PON technology while providing high subscriber density and low-cost entry, making the solution a compelling alternative to legacy, last-mile access solutions for the delivery of triple- play services to residential, business and home users.
For the smooth evolution from GPON to XG(S)-PON, GENEW's OLT platform supports coexistence of GPON service boards and XG(S)-PON service board. Also GENEW's OLT platform supports Combo-PON service board which included GPON+XG-PON and GPON+XGS-PON for the case of different GPON/ XG-PON/ XGS-PON service in the same ODN. Suppliers can smoothly evolve from GPON to XG(S)-PON with the different PON service board in the same platform.
GPON/XG-PON/XGS-PON
Genew Optical Line Terminal (OLT) is a cost effective & versatile GPON/ XGPON device，with the features of upstream/downstream frame processing, wavelength division multiplexing, and control signal generation. Facing the situation
of different types of terminals and services, complex network conditions, and uneven distribution of users, Genew OLT adopts the industrial advanced technology, with diverse interfaces, high density, and powerful Ethernet services to comply with our clients' needs. Its splitting ratio is up to 1:128, supporting different types of ONU in different networks, minimizing operators' investments. It provides high reliability with fully redundancy with 1+1 CSM/ Power/ Uplink card and PON protection.
