What is Pharma Turnkey Projects (EPC)?
EPC stands for Engineering, Procurement, Construction and is a prominent form of contracting agreement in the construction industry. The engineering and construction contractor will carry out a detailed engineering design of the project, procure all the equipment and materials necessary, and then construct and commission to deliver the project to End-User or Owner. Meanwhile, the contractor is also responsible for the project progress, quality, cost and safety. According to the contract, the owner shall pay the money and the contractor shall complete the construction as required. Finally, the project will be accepted and settled in accordance with the contract.
Execution phase of the EPC project
1. Project preparation & preliminary planning
2. Project design (concept design, detail design, construction design)
3. Procurement (equipment, material and machine tools)
4. Construction: progress, quality and cost control; personnel allocation & workforce management
5. Commission & Acceptance: commission of single machine, linkage line and system
6. Personnel training
7. Completion acceptance
8. After-sales service
