Linear Motion Rolling Guides Made in Japan

The linear motion rolling guide series consists of a range of products that are indispensable for reducing linear motion friction in the positioning mechanisms of machinery. There are a variety of options including linear way and linear roller way rail guiding systems, and ball spline-based shaft guiding systems. Available sizes range from the world’s smallest track rail at just 1 mm wide, to a very large version which provides high rigidity and high-load capacity.

The slide unit is available in a standard type and wide type, the latter suitable for use with a single track rail.

Three stainless steel ball retaining types with the same cross-sectional dimensions but different slide unit lengths are available: short type, standard type and high-rigidity long type. They can be selected according to the application.

Stainless steel types, with excellent corrosion resistance, are also available. They are ideal for use in cleanroom machines and equipment, such as medical equipment, various disc readers and semiconductor manufacturing devices. The high carbon steel type, with a track rail that can be modified, is used for general-purpose applications such as conveying and equipment handling.

The slide unit incorporates a ball retaining band which prevents the ball from dropping down when the slide unit is removed from the track rail, making it easy to handle.

The track rail is available in the standard specification where the bolts pass through the through hole downward, and the tapped rail specification where the track rail is threaded. Since the mounting direction can be selected, it offers a wider range of options in machine design.
