316L reducer Industrial matte stainless steel size head

Size head (reducing pipe) is a kind of pipe fitting used for pipe diameter. Generally, the forming process is reduced diameter pressing, reaming pressing or reducing diameter plus expanding pressing.

1, Shrink/enlarge forming

The process of reducing the diameter of the big and small heads is to put the tube billets with the same diameter as the big and small heads into the forming die, and make the metal move along the die cavity and shrink to form by pressing along the axial direction of the tube billets. According to the size of reducing pipe diameter, it can be divided into one press forming or multiple press forming.

2, Stamping

In addition to the use of steel pipes as raw materials for the production of the size of the head, some specifications of the size of the head can also be used steel plate stamping process for production. The shape of the punching die used for drawing is designed according to the size of the inside surface of the head.
