Application:
1. In the chemical industry, it is mainly used to manufacture various barium salts, barium-containing pigments, and organic dyes; such as dye red and barium rock red.
2.In the steel industry,used for heat treatment, quenching of alloy steel cutting tools, and replacing sodium cyanide as a carburizing agent for steel.
3.In agricultural production,used to control plant pests. It contains 1-4% barium chloride aqueous solution, which is toxic to many kinds of crop pests
4.In the paper industry, used to manufacture photosensitive paper and coated paper to make it have excellent gloss and whiteness.
5.It is also used for water treatment of boiler, for ceramic products to prevent fading, as rayon matting agent, for fabric mordant and tanned leather.
