3M™ Trizact™ Hookit™ 3 Inch Foam Discs are foam-backed abrasive discs for the removal of P1200-P1500 sand scratches. This step allows you to get a smoother finish with the 3M Perfect-It polishes.
3M™ Trizact™ Hookit™ 3 Inch Foam Discs have foam backing that is able to bend against the curves and contours of your vehicle. During spot repair, this flexibility enables the discs to level scratches evenly, resulting in a uniform finish.
Use 3M™ Trizact™ Hookit™ 3 Inch Foam Discs with your dual action polisher. The discs can be used with the Lake Country 2 7/8 inch Flexible Backing Plate with the DA Adapter.
If performing spot repair, follow 3M™ Trizact™ Hookit™ 3 Inch Foam Discs with 3M Perfect-It 3000 Swirl Mark Remover and a 3M Perfect-It Foam Polishing Pad. For large panel repair, 3M recommends using 3M Perfect-It Rubbing Compound (or Extra Cut Rubbing Compound for hard clear coats) after sanding but before using 3M Perfect-It 3000 Swirl Mark Remover. This will ensure an even texture across large panels.
