Product Description
Technical ceramics are favoured in a wide range of electronics and engineering applications for their chemical and mechanical properties. Compared to metals, they are stronger in compression, especially at higher temperatures. Ceramics have a good thermal stability (i.e. a low coefficient of thermal expansion) and good thermal and electrical resistance. They are also hard, and have excellent dimensional stability.
The two-disc ceramic valve assembly ensures reliability, longevity, and high control accuracy. Separately supplies of hot and cold water are mixed via a set of ported ceramic discs.
In two-handle faucets, ceramic disc valve heads are rapidly replacing conventional flow control designs. The sealing and friction behavior of a set of precision-ground and polished ceramic discs ensures outstanding longevity, optimum sealing performance and superior operating convenience. Mixing of the separate hot and cold water flows takes place in the valve. We product range includes a wide selection of standard disc sets for two-handle faucet types.
