EOS 3D Printing Nylon Glass Fiber Engine Parts Rapid Prototype
Product details:
Color: White
Material Type: Nylon
Delivery: 2 business day
Feature: Nylon glass fiber powder PA3200 GF is a white, glass-filled polyamide powder containing up to 30% glass fiber, which has better rigidity and elongation at break than nylon. Nylon glass fiber material has better impact resistance, high hardness, good strength and better toughness. The maximum temperature of heat resistance is 150°C-170°C, and the surface is fine powder. It is an ideal material with high hardness requirements.
Suitable: Full-featured, high-quality, fast-prototype engine parts (manufactured by direct parts), parts requiring high rigidity and high heat deformation resistance.
FAQ
What is 3D printing?
3D printing is a digital manufacturing process that makes it possible to create a physical object from a 3D file. The object is formed by applying successive layers of solid material. 3D Printing also known as Additive Manufacturing(AM) as a general term that covers various techniques and it empowers designers and manufacturers print object of any shape and geometric dimension.
In simple words, it is one of the fastest modes of developing physical prototypes accurately and true to scale.
How does 3D printing work?
3D Printing process builds an object layer by layer to create a complex shape. In order to build this object we need a 3D file that contains accurate information about the geometry of the part. Then the information in this 3D file is sent to the 3D-printer that will build up the material matching the 3D file.
What machines do you use to create 3D objects?
We have several types of machines in our workshops:
HP Jet Fusion 3D 4200 Printer (11 units)
EOS Formiga P110 3D Printer (1 unit)
EOS P396 3D Printer (2 units))
EOS M290 3D Printer (6 units)
Available materials: Aluminum (AlSi10Mg), Titanium (TiAl6V4), Stainless Steel (316L), PA11, PA12, PA12GB, Somos® EvoLVe 128 and other resins, etc.
How much does a 3D print cost?
The cost per gram for 3D Printing is based on a variety of factors including time, labor, machine wear, and the estimated weight of the print (in grams), etc.
How long will it take to print?
Printing usually takes hours, or several business days, and can vary depending on several factors: the size of your model, the material you are using, the layer height (smaller layers mean more layers to print), the complexity of your model, whether the object needs supports, etc.
How will I know when the print is done?
You will be notified via email once your print has been completed, and whenever there’re any problems occurred during the printing process that may need your attention.
l What colors are available?
Any color is available. Each object can only be printed in one color.
