Introduction of PETG Heat Shrinking Film

PET resin is a linear homopolymerized polyester obtained by condensation polymerization of a glycol (ethylene glycol, EG) and a dibasic acid (terephthalic acid, TPA), and the copolymerized polyester is an alcohol modified with an alcohol or an acid. There are PETG, PCTG and PCTA as well as degradable copolyesters.

PETG Heat Shrinking Film is a non-crystalline copolyester. In the production process, since a certain amount of ethylene glycol is replaced by 1,4-cyclohexane dimethanol (CHDM), crystallization can be prevented, thereby improving processing and transparency. Its products are highly transparent and excellent in impact resistance. It is especially suitable for forming thick-walled transparent products. It has excellent processing and forming properties and can be designed in any shape according to the designer's intention. It may use traditional extrusion, injection molding, blow molding and suction.
