96oz Silicone Coated Fiberglass Cloth is a heavy weight fiberglass fabric coated one side with silicone rubber compound, to a finished weight of 96 ounces per square meter.
Features
The silicone rubber coating is completely impervious to water, moisture, hydraulic oils. When exposed to high temperatures or molten splash for extended periods, the coating transforms into a silica refractory crust.
Application
It is excellent for use in the construction of removable insulation pads where more severe conditions exist. Also used in weld spatter protection of equipment and personnel, heat shield and splash curtains.
