Running smoothly
The ball screw's high efficiency is far superior to conventional screws. The required torque is less than 30%. It is easy to change the linear motion by rotating the motion.
High rigidity and preload
When the axial clearance is minimized in a conventional nut assembly, the actuation torque becomes excessive and the operation is not smooth. With preloading, the axial clearance of the precision ball screw can be reduced to zero and still perform a smooth and smooth operation. As a result, low torque and high rigidity can be achieved at the same time. These conditions can be achieved with the TBI MOTION ball screw with a Gothic arched groove profile (Fig. 1.2).
