Tabular alumina is made of Al2O3, after ingredients rinding and forming, calcining in high temperature furnace turned to α-Al2O3. Plate crystal, small pores and closed pores and porosity and fused corundum roughly the same, high purity, good volume stability, minimal re-burning shrinkage, for the production of refractory or castable high temperature treatment has good thermal shock stability and bending strength.

Features

Tabular Alumina have high purity, good volume stability, minimal re-buring shrinkage, for the production of refractory or castable high temperature treatment has good thermal shock stablity and bending strength.

The crystal of tabular alumina staggered plate shape, to increasing the mechanical strength of the particles; interior structure full of closed pores , high bulk density, low apparent porosity, low water absorption, to reducing the amount of fluid re-use productions.

High refractoriness high corrosion resistance high erosion resistance, execellent thermal shock resistance, low shrinkage and good thermal load strength etc.

Meanwhile, high-purity avoiding damage to stystem, it is an ideal material for making refractory material, ceramic material and insulating materials.

Application

Sintered TA tabular alumina oxide for ladle lining refractories

1. Tabular alumina is an ideal refractory material, can be used as aggregate in all aluminum refractory, or be incorporated into other aluminum unshaped refractory.
2. Any fused corundum or white corundum can be totally replaced by Tabular Corundum, thus to improve the refractoriness performance.
3. Also can be widely used in steel,casting,cermics and other industries.It covers almost the whole process of iron and steel in the sted industry.
4. Used as aggregates and powder in alumina-based and alumina-contained refractories ,it has been widely used in metallurgical industry (such as ladle lining refractories , sliding plate , purging plug, well-block ,stopper , long nozzle and submerged entry nozzle for con-casting, etc.) and other industries like ceramics petrochemical, glass, etc.
