1. Product Overview

The Beidou / GPS Radiosonde System consists of ground receiver equipment and radiosonde. The radiosonde can be launched to the air through different platforms for conducting detection missions and collecting the meteorological information and environmental information during its flight. The ground receiver equipment can receive the radio signals transmitted by the radiosonde, and then demodulate the humidity, temperature, pressure, wind direction, wind speed and other meteorological data through calculation. The system utilizes the high-precision positioning function of the Beidou/GPS satellite to perform auto-tracing on the radiosonde. The detection data is accurate with high level of automation.

2. Product Composition

The Beidou/GPS Radiosonde System mainly has two components: the ground receiver equipment and the radiosonde.

3. Radiosonde Product Series

3.1. Balloon-carried Radiosonde Series

The balloon-carried radiosonde is launched to the air by being carried by a weather balloon. It can provide the temperature, humidity, pressure and wind data at high level. The product supports high data-obtaining rate and controls the data quality through error detection and correction.
