Introduction
UV resonance spectroscopy system is mainly composed of :
1.the laser part : UV or visible light laser, ultraviolet tunable narrow- linewidth laser.
2.spectrometer components: triple monochromator + high sensitivity scientific grade CCD.
3.signal acquisition components: high efficiency spectral acquisition components.
Features
1. Suitable UV laser excitation can completely avoid the interference of the background fluorescence
2. As the Raman signal intensity is proportional to the fourth power of the excitation laser frequency , the higher the UV laser excitation Raman signal efficiency . ( The same power 266nm laser can stimulate 16 times higher than the 532nm laser Raman signal ) .
3. Resonance Raman resonance can provide high enhancement factor ( the theoretical limit of up to 106 times ) so greatly enhance the detection limit.
4. selective excitation can be achieved when we put a laser tuned to the excitation of a substance on the peak , you can only achieve this upgrade several orders of magnitude enhancement resonance signal intensity of a specific substance , since almost no other substances resonance enhanced to further enhance the letter noise ratio , which is for catalytic and biological research is very favorable.
5. As a result of Rayleigh scattering triple monochromator was filtered off , rather than the notch filter , test apparatus can be as low as several wavenumber Raman spectra .
