The MP43-GCQ Fiber Gas hold-up tool is an optical logging tool based logging tool based on fluid refractive index measurement. The instrument working principal is that there is a large difference in refractive index between the gas and the liquid in the fluid, and the optical probe has different reflected light intensity when it contacts different media, so it can judge the media contacted is gas or liquid. The gas holdup of the downhole section can be derived through the analysis of the waveform of the probe output according to the statistical principle.
