Resinated Lignite
It is a kind of drilling fluid filtration reducer composed by sulfonated phenol-formaldehyde resin and sulfonated lignite, and can be used together with sulfonated asphalt, sulfonated tannin etc. Being heat and salt resistant at the same time, it is one of the ideal products for high temperature and deep well mud systems.
Use
It is a kind of copolymer contains hydroxyl, carbonyl, methyl, sulfonic acid base, nitriles and some other functional groups, and is made by grafting copolymerization and sulfonation. The main function is to reduce filtration loss, but it can also reduce viscosity at the same time.
It is heat-resistant because it draws sulfonic group into benzene ring unit, and the benzene ring is linked with carbon atoms. Owing to the introducing of sodium sulfonate SO3NA in benzene hydroxyl, it strengthens the hydration, which thus results in fine solubility. As a deep well mud treatment, Resinated Lignite owns the characteristics of reducing HTHP fluid loss, salt-resistant, calcium-resistant etc, and plays a great role in consolidating well wall, preventing collapsing and stucking. Recommended dosage: 1-3%
