Specific for brake disc, Halnn researched BN-S300,BN-K20 and BNK30 cbn inserts, and BN-S300 belong tosolid cbn insert, which can be used for both roughing and finishing, BN-K20 and BNK30 belong to brazing pcbn insert, which can be used for finishing process.

Specific for BN-K20 PCBN Insert for finish turning brake disc, it need to make sure the surface roughness in high cutting speed (Vc=1500m/min). Normally the cutting speed need to arrive 700~800 m/min. Compared with carbide insert, it not only can achieve high efficiency, and has good Durability and long tool life.

BNK30, is the new cbn insert materials grade which is researched by Halnn specific for machining gray cast iron parts. It adopt nano grade binder and high pure cbn particle, and can be used for high cutting speed machining brake disc (Vc=500~1000m/min), it can satisfy the requirements of the stable performance. Especially in the finishing process, its long tool life perform obviously.
