Reference electrode for water quality testing
A reference electrode acts a comparative reference electrode when measure electrode potential.Common reference electrodes are calomel electrode,Ag/AgCl electrode,etc.Generally composes measuring electrode couple with ph indicating electrode,ISE and metal electrode;mainly used in measurement of ph value and ion concentration or potential titration analysis.

Applications of Reference Electrode:
[232-01] :
The most typical reference electrode that widely used,stable and reliable performance,poor performance when high temperature (more than 70C).The electrode constains Hg components,should be irresponsibly disposed.
[217]:
The filling solution of the second salt bridge can be determined according to user demand;eg : When measure low chloride concentration,can add potassium nitrate to the second salt bridge,in order to prevent penetration of KCL from the first salt bridge to sample,so as to affect measuring result of chloride ion.
[6802];
Specially matching with 6801 series sodium ISE.
Applications of other Reference electrode :
[C(K2SO4) Reference electrode]
Common use.This electrode does not contain chloride ion,is suitable for non-chlorine occasions.
[Ag/AgCl Reference electrode]
Widely used.Compared with calomel electrode,the service life of this electrode is short,but its material is environmental protection.
