Description:

• Cutting strips are reversible for maximum usage.
• You can cut into a shorter lengths. Please note that the strip has No adhesive, you need to buy extra double-sided tapes.

Features:
• Please adjust the plotter pressure properly in order to avoid the guard strip being badly engraved by fulsome pressure.
• If the vinyl is narrower than the cutting size, please try to transform the vinyl position to avoid repeated cutting in the same format. The repeated cutting will easily lead to the strip become uneven.
• Please replace the old guard strip timely, because the badly worn strip will cause a vary depth of the engraved words.

Steps to replace the guard strip:
• Please remove the old strip, and clear the remaining gum left on the machine.
• Please measure the length of your old guard strip and cut the new one into a same length.
• Please paste the double-sided tape evenly along the groove on the machine.
• Please paste the guard strip on the other side of the tape evenly.
• Please cover the surface of the guard strip with sellotape.

What's the cutting guard strip for? 
The cutting guard strip is used on the cutting plotter or vinyl cutter to protect the machine and the blade from being damaged. Without the strip, the cutting plotter will be badly scratched by the sharp blade and the blade will be abrased as well when the cutting plotter is working.
