Metal lath is a versatile base for cement plaster walls. It provides the proper embedment and keying of the scratch coat on all types of walls.
metal lath(wall plaster mesh) is manufactured from pre-galvanised steel to BS EN 10142 quality, this metal lath is to avoid the cracking on wall due to different contraction rate of concrete and plaster material. Use with galvanised angle bead, galvanised stop bead, plasterer can be sure of perfect workmanship and quality of plastering job.
USE: Manufactured by slitting and stretching galvanized steel to form small openings to allow the keying of plaster so it will bond to the lath. Diamond Mesh Lath can be bent easily to create curved surfaces.

USE: Uses the same mesh configuration as Diamond Mesh Lath but made with 1/4″ dimple indentations spaced 1-1/2″ o.c. each way. Used as exterior stucco base, column fireproofing and re-plastering over old surfaces. Available in galvanized only.

The paper is vapor permeable and meets Federal Specification UU-B-790a.
Used to install a base material and act as a water barrier at the same time.
Paper-backed galvanized lath is a recommended base and reinforcement for some exterior wall construction, including stucco and other machine or hand-applied exterior surfacing materials.
