According to Archemidean Helix principle, B&W loibl screw conveyor can transport various kinds of bulk materials with various characteristics, or may be used in other process technologies.
Transport or process technology is implemented in the enclosure, this enclosure comprises a rotating wing worm shaft as a full blade helical, propeller-type spiral, or helical-linear spiral, or as a right or left-handed, reverse-direction, or long helix in a given arrangement with a stable, progressive, or conical configuration.
The shaft outlet of the end plate worm gear shaft can have a sealing ring, a packing gland or a special shaft seal. Bearings are located outside. In view of the material properties, the B&W Loibl can be fitted with a central bearing between the rolling bearing and the plain bearings.
Depending on the task and material characteristics, hollow spirals, tubular spirals, insert spirals and feed spirals, as well as vertical, discharging and long screw conveyors can be used.
The worm screw casing has fins for easy inspection, maintenance and cleaning. A gear motor with an "axle mount" or a spur gear motor with a flexible coupling, or driven by a chain drive with a protective shell.
The sensor controls the rotational speed of the worm shaft.
