ABB Panel 800 Screen Standard Panels

Panel 800 family comprises of user-friendly, intuitive and ergonomic operator panels that combine slim, space-saving dimensions with a comprehensive range of advanced functions. Panel 800 Version 6 comprises of new Standard and High Performance panels that boast of more interfacing options, speed and brilliant displays.

 

Designed to make process automation easy, all panels are equipped with advanced functionality for process and equipment control, maneuvered either by function keys located next to the screen or by touching the LCD display. Combined with market-leading performance and stunning graphical ability, Panel 800 erodes the line between ordinary Operator Panels and PC-based HMIs. Panels are configured using ABB’s Panel Builder tool that contains all basic functions needed in an application. The functions are tested and developed with customer needs and preferences in focus

 

The Panel 800 operator panel is developed to satisfy the demands of humanmachine communication. Built-in functions such as displaying and controlling text, dynamic indication, time channels, alarm and recipe handling are included. The operator panel work, for the most part, in an object-oriented way, making it easy to understand and use. The configuration operation of the panel is made in a personal computer, using the configuration tool Panel Builder 800. The project is then transferred and stored in the operator panel. The operator panel can be connected to many types of automation equipment, such as PLCs, servos or drives. In this manual the expression “the controller“ is used as a general term for the connected equipment. This manual explains how to install the operator panel. Please refer to the manual Panel Builder 800, Programming and Installation (3BSE043445Rxxx) for further information.

As a member of ABB’s Essential HSI Suite, Panel 800 offers a collection of operator panels ranging from a simple keypad panel with monochrome display to a high performance panel offering multiple interfacing options, speed and brilliant displays.

Our panels have been grouped based on display sizes and performance levels so you can find the optimal HMI solution for your application. Standard, High performance, Black and Rugged panels are part of Panel 800 version 6 range of HMI solutions. Our earlier series of Panel 800 version 5.1 is also available in parallel.

·          Standard panels comprises of keypad panels PP874K, PP877K and touchscreen panels PP871, PP874, PP877 suitable for extreme temperature range.

·          High performance panels PP882 and PP885 are designed with more interfacing options, speed and more brilliant displays.

·          Black and Rugged panels are the latest additions to the Panel 800 version 6 family. “Black” marine certified panels include PP874M, PP885M and PP885H. The “Rugged” marine certified panels include PP880R, PP885R and PP886H.

·          PC Runtime is a software enabling the HMI application to run equally well, or better, on a standard Windows PC as on a panel.

·          Panel 800 version 5.1 comprises of four keypad panels PP820A, PP826A, PP836A, PP846A and six touchscreen panels PP815A, PP825A, PP835A, PP845A, PP865A.
