Geological Drill Pipe is hollow,thick-walled,steel piping that is used on drilling rigs and horizontal drilling to facilitate the drilling of a wellbore and comes in a variety of sizes,strengths,and weights but are typically 4.5 to 9 meters in length.They are hollow to allow drilling fluid to be pumped through them,down the hole,and back up the annulus.
This kind of drill pipe is especially suitable for the geological, hydrological, coalfield, geothermal and engineering drilling. We provide six kinds of geological drill pipes in different diameters for customers around the globe.
It is mainly comprised of rod body and joint. And all of the raw materials we offer follow ISO9001:2008. And it is cost-effective and wear resistant, and its service life is quite long.
Note:
1. Thread sealing grease should be used when connecting the pipe and the joint,and hammer knocking should be prohibited.
2、According to the provisions of the joint on the make-up torque drill pipe and tighten.
3.During the relocation of drill pipes, the thread protector should be screwed on the threaded parts so as to protect it from damages.
Both ends of the rod body are external thickened and through heat treatment, and both ends of the fine thread are turned by NC.
Raw materials used in production of Baosteel STM - R780.
The end of the head after heat treatment can greatly improve the mechanical properties,and the high thread turning precision can achieve full engagement with the joint.
