The drill stem subs are mainly used to connect various drill rods (stems) in the geological drilling. These subs can be used to protect drill stem (rod) from consumption in the way of making the connector to bear most of frictional force.
The drill subs are used to connect and loosen in drilling. The tool joints are very important because of the frequent tighten and loosen. We use heat treatment and hardening treatment on the thread surface to prolong their use of time. Our products use the international standard material. Custom sizes are always available.
The material after quenching and tempering treatment, the finished product through special nitriding.
The materials are made of high quality alloy steel with 40Cr or 42CrMo.
