Xunda pipe wrap tape offers a series of coating systems designed specifically for in-field applications on new construction pipe or reconditioning of existing pipelines. In-field or in-situ installation is economical and efficient. When cold-applied coating systems are used, a small investment in manpower and application equipment yields a big return in productivity and long-term performance. The reconditioning systems can be applied on existing operating pipelines, which means no loss of revenue or downtime.
The pipe wrap tape shall be applied after the Liquid adhesive and before the outer-layer tape by hand or with a wrapping machine
Structure:
The specification of the tape consists of two layers, adhesive layer and film backing
Adhesive: Butyl rubber
Film backing: Special blend of stabilized polyethylene
1 .Pipe wrap tape also be called colad applied tape,anticorrosion tape, pipe fittings tape,anticorrosive tape,pe adhesive tape,3ply pipeline tape.
2. Pipe wrap tape tape can be used for oil gas steel pipe, also can be used for water ductile pipeline.
3. Tape backing can be PE, PP,adhesive can be bitumen adhesive,butyl rubber adhesive.

Manufacture of Polyethylene coatings utilizing Butyl based elastomeric adhesives, Polyethylene films and liquid adhesives for corrosion protection of steel pipe.
Provides corrosion protection with the inherent chemistry of Polyethylene and Butyl Adhesive for resistance to water and oxygen penetration. Oxygen and Water are prevented from reaching the metal substrate, which are necessary and sufficient conditions for corrosion.
