Industry Applicability
RIOU air cooled water chillers apply to many industries, such as laser industry, electroplating industry, chemical industry, PCB industry, injection molding industry, food & drink processing industry, etc.
The air cooled chiller can be influenced by the surrounding temperature. RIOU air cooled chiller can bear up to 55 degree Celsius surrounding temperature. Air cooled chiller doesn’t need water cooling tower so that it is easy to be installed. All the air cooled chillers are box type.
Components
RIOU chiller mainly consists of compressor, throttling gear, control panel, condenser and evaporator. You can choose the type and brand of these components yourself. Or we may help you according to your needs.
1. Compressor
RIOU uses the famous compressor, like Bizer, Copeland, Danfoss, SANYO, Taiwan Hanbell and Taiwan Fu Sheng, to ensure the quality. RIOU believes that diversified choices can meet most of the clients.
Usually, RIOU will use scroll compressor for small-medium cooling capacity, screw compressor for large cooling capacity and piston compressor for low temperature working situation.
The output power of screw compressor can be controlled automatically by control system. Furthermore, there are four phases for choosing: 0%-25%-50%-75%-100%. And the motor of the screw compressor is star delta start.
2. Throttling Gear
According to the cooling capacity, the chiller will adopts capillary tube or thermostatic expansion valve. The capillary tube will be made by us. And the expansion valve will be Emerson or Danfoss brand.
3. Control Panel
Normally, scroll chiller is equipped key control panel with LED display and screw chiller is controlled by touch screen (human-machine interface). You can choose Punp (usual), Siemens or Mitsubishi brand. According to your needs, the chiller can be long-range controlled.
4. Condenser
RIOU air cooled scroll chiller adopts finned type condenser; screw chiller adopts brass sleeve corrugated aluminum fin type condenser. The refrigerant will be cooled down here by the fan. Usually, the fan is on the top of the chiller. But it can also be on the side of the chiller according to your special needs.
Please notice that the finned condenser can be corroded by corrosive gas. Therefore, you’d better choose water cooled chiller in such place or you should find a way to avoid corrosive gas contact with the condenser. If the local environment is windy and dusty, the chiller should be equipped dust gauze to protect condenser.
Some clients don’t want the chiller’s quantity of heat be emitted in the workshop. In consideration of this situation, we can separate the condenser from the chiller. So that the cooling part works inside the workshop while the heat dissipation part works outside.
5. Evaporator
You can choose “coil tube type” or “shell and tube” type. Shell and tube type evaporator is more efficient than coil tube type. If you choose coil tube type evaporator, the chiller should be equipped a water tank. Besides, the chiller will need a water supplement tank according to some situations too.
In consideration of corrosive liquid, the evaporator can be titanium coil tube type or stainless plate type.
6. Water Pump
The water pump type will be decided by your needs. For example, if the chiller needs to cool corrosive liquid, it’ll need a chemical pump.
7. Water Tank
The chiller usually is equipped a water tank inside. Besides, RIOU can provide different capacity of water tanks outside the chiller for clients to keep the liquid temperature in the water tank. The material of water tank is 304# stainless steel in usual.
8. Others
Danfoss electromagnetic valve, Emerson filter, LG contactor and LG thermal relay.
