NICORE single and three -phase strip wound distribution transformer cores are operating in many thousands of transformers in China and overseas. Advantages The cores are strip wound in grain oriented silicon steel and offer the following advantages comparing to stack laminated cores: 1. Reduction in core losses; 2. Low humming; 3. Ease of stroage and handling. Range single phase cores ranging from 10KVA to 160KVA, three-phase cores ranging from 20KVA to 630KVA.
