Product Description

Plug is a water swellable but not water soluble, 100% crystalline synthetic polymer. Plug polymer absorbs 

hundreds of times its own weight in water. It is intended for use primarily as a lost circulation material for 

horizontal directional drilling.

Recommended Treatment

Add Plug in concentration of 12.0 to 24.0 kg/m³ (4.2 to 8.4 lb/bbl) of fresh water or the drilling fluid before 

being pumped down into the cavity or when spotted across the thief zone.
