Why IPE Hardwood? |

IPE Hardwood tree typically grows in tropical South-central America. This wood it's so dense that can be somewhat difficult to work with, especially with hand tools, because it's quite a blunting effect on cutting edges. So we always use reduced cutting angle to keep edges sharp. As everyone knows, pernambuco is an endanger specie, many efforts have been done to find a substitute wood. IPE is regarded as one of the best candidates! A bow made by this wood will fullfil even the high demands of professional players.
