The machine is primarily used for cutting internal & external spur, tapered tooth and different type of non-circular gear. The dish or bowl type of cutter is usually adopted on machine. When a helical guide is mounted, helical gear and different type of non-circular helical gear can be machined with a helical cutter. When the machine is adopted with a dish type of cutter without teeth, various kind of profile cams may be cut, while the special type of cutter and fixture are used, various type of profile work can also be cut, such as a special toothed clutch and rack, etc. Crowned gear can also be machined after making a proper change of machine.

This machine can be with a load & unload mechanism on the request of end-user for the mass production.
