Product Feature:
Potassium carbonate may be monoclinic crystal,whitepowder,granular crystal or prill.Relativedensity: 2.662 and the melting point is at 891 degree C.It easily soluble inwater forming a slightly alkaline solution.it is insoluble in alcohol andether.It is strong hygroscopicity.It easily cakes and turns into potassiumbicarbonate through absorbing carbon dioxide when exposed to the air for a longtime.
Applications:PotassiumCarbonate is used as raw materials in manufacturing electro tube, TVkinescope, computer display. It is applied in optical glass improvingclarity, strength and refractive index. It is also applied in electrodeavoiding electric arc breaking-off during welding. It is used to producefood additives like potassium sorbate, monopotassiumphosphate, etc. Potassium Carbonate is foliar spray fertilizer and aconstituent of compound fertilizer. In dyeing industry, it is used toproduce vat dyestuff and discharge of ice dyeing. It is absorbent removinghydrogen sulfide and carbon dioxide; dry powder extinguisher mixed withsoda; auxiliary raw material for production alcohol and acetone; andanti-aging agent in rubber production. Its solution is used in boiling andscouring of cotton and wool's degreasing. In addition, it is alsoused in manufacture of printing ink, photograph-drug, polyester, explosives, electroplating, tanning, ceramic, buildingmaterials, crystals and medicine.

Handling and storage:Store in dry ventilated houseaway from moisture.Don't store in goods yards or expose to the air.Protect thematerial from rain when loading and unloading. Be sure to keep fromcontaminant.Avoid handling and transporting together with acid substances. Inthe event of a fire,use water as extinguishing agent.
