The water coils can be manufactured in any dimension and capacity with respect to customer needs. With design, material and workmanship qualities, high capacity Karyer coils fulfill plants’ needs for many years. Coils are designed by analyzing water, air and pressure drops; air velocity; sound levels and other similar factors.
Configuration for Water coils :
Capacities of our heating and cooling coils are certified by ARI Certification body for the following coil patterns: 1022-1, 1228, 1235-1, 1630 and 1635.
In water coils, preferred tube diameters are 3/8”x0.35mm, 1/2”x0,35mm and 5/8”x0,40mm. The dies are as following:
For 3/8” tube diameter: 25,00x21,65 mm, 25,40x22,00 mm and 30,00x26,00 mm,
For 1/2” tube diameter: 31,75 x 27,50mm and 40,00x34,64 mm,
For 5/8” tube diameter: 40,00x34,64 mm and 50,00x50,00mm.
The tube thickness can be used also thicker than the standard as 0,40 and 0,50 mm.
Configuration for Steam coils :
In steam coils, preferred tube diameters are 1/2” and 5/8”. The dies are as following:
For 1/2” tube diameter: 31,75x27.50mm and 40,00x34,64 mm,
For 5/8” tube diameter: 40,00x34,64 mm and 50,00x50,00 mm.
In steam coils, thicker tubes (0,70 and 1 mm) are used which are resistant to high pressure.
Aluminium fin : Fin thickness is 0,12mm. If requested, thicker fins as 0,15mm, 0,18mm and 0,20mm are available. Additionally, for corrosive environments, hydrophilic, hydrophobic, epoxy coated or copper fins can be used.
Circuiting : Circuiting is considered and determined in accordance with the pressure drop and the capacity change and it is designed to provide appropriate drain capability.
Rows : Number of the tubes along the rows direction is decided according to the capacity needs or to the special requirements of customers.
End Plates : Galvanized steel or upon request aluminum sheets are used.
Headers : Steel tubes (standard) or upon request copper tubes are used. Brass fittings can be added on the copper tubes. Drain and vents are available on all of our coils.
