CNC lathe machining Brass End Cap
Copper and Brass are commonly utilized materials for water and pneumatic fittings, electrical
connectors, and in some applications where heat removal (copper) is required.
Achieving a good surface finish on copper parts is challenging, as the material is very soft and is affected by swarf scratching. Brass on the other hand, is easy to machine, and can produce very good surface finishes straight off the machine tool.
Brass and copper do not usually undergo any form of post machining surface treatment; however, we have produced parts for clients that require nickel and gold flash plating for specialist applications.
The most common grades we machine are C36000 Free machining brass, and OFHC Copper for electrical applications.
Our Capacity:

2. Equipment: CNC milling machine, CNC lathe, CNC high-speed engraving machine, wire cut etc.
3. Precision machining capability:
a) Machine’s rotating speed: 5,000rpm-30,000rpm;
b) Machining precision tolerance: 0.005-0.01mm,
C) Roughness value :< Ra0.2
d) Minimum cutting tool:0.1mm
