China AQSIQ Certificate History
Hi, this is Justin from China Recycling Inspection Service Co.Ltd. Today i will share how is AQSIQ Certificate developing in China.
2004, in order to keep China environment, China AQSIQ department require overseas suppliers register AQSIQ Certificate, then can export waste materials to China. At that time, there is no formal regulations for the application, by the way, its very easy to get AQSIQ license at 2004
2007,China AQSIQ department published an announcement, all waste materials importers in China also have to register AQSIQ as consignees. Around 1-2 thousands companies in China register AQSIQ at that year

2009,its the most important year for AQSIQ Certificate. China AQSIQ dept published Order 119 with regulation 98, this is the formal laws about how to apply AQSIQ Certificate, what documents needed, how to change information on AQSIQ, how to control the activity for the suppliers etc.
Besides, there is also China GB Regulations for waste materials. It explains what kind scraps can be imported into China, what is not allowed etc.
2011, China AQSIQ dept issued around 300 AQSIQ Certificates for suppliers
2013, around 400 enterprises got AQSIQ Certification
2014, around 300 enterprises got AQSIQ
2015,around 200 enterprises got AQSIQ (by the end of Aug)
Till now, there are around three thousands overseas suppliers got AQSIQ Certification, among them, different kinds of scrap imported into China, like waste plastic, metal scarp, mixed metal scrap, waste paper, waste wood, waste textile, smelt slag etc.
