The ice making process is generally the same, althugh the different types of ice makers, . Water enters the
ice maker from an supply line and is then funneled into a refrigerated ice tray where the water will then be
frozen, layer by layer, and formed into ice cubes or bullet shape ice cubes around end of the condenser
pipes. After completely formed, a mild heating instead of cooling in the condenser pipes then loosens the
ice from the tray or condenser pipes so it can then fall into its collection box.
One final thing to consider that is really important is the maintainance of the ice making machine. Some
models and designs end up with excess water that often needs to be drained. If that is not something you
want to mess with, consider one of the ice machines that recycle the melted ice cubes and make new
cubes.
