Description:

WEEM 1128 is design with premium silicon carbide bonded on anti-static treated YY weight waterproof polyester. Anti-static treatment made on backing to delay or prevent loading problem.

Silicon carbide is a very hard and crystal structure produces a fine straight edged grind lines. Care selection of gains, only premium silicon carbide is selected. It is superior for its ability to penetrate with light cutting pressures. SiC is primarily used for grinding nonferrous materials such as brass, copper, bronze, and wood, glass, rubber and plastics. It is also used to finish polyurethanes, primers, lacquers and sealers.

A closed coat product has a higher number of abrasive cutting points per square inch and results in higher stock removal rate and longer time before the abrasive wears out. Normally results in a better finish.
